How long are counselling sessions and how often do they take place?
Sessions are 50 minutes in length and usually take place weekly.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are offered in-person or online, whichever suits you best. Face-to-face sessions take place in central Glasgow, right next to Queen Street Station and Buchanan Street subway, and a ten-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station. For online sessions, you will need access to a quiet and private space where you will not be interrupted.
When are sessions available?
Sessions are generally available on a Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and 5pm. However, later sessions may be possible.
How much do sessions cost?
The cost per session is £50, payable in advance by bank transfer.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number of sessions – this varies from client to client. For some, a few sessions are sufficient while for others several months or longer is required. We will review your progress and goals regularly and you can decide what feels right for you.
Who do you work with?
I offer one-to-one counselling to young people (16+) and adults.
How will I know if you are the right therapist for me?
Finding a therapist you can feel at ease with is important. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to enable us to have a brief chat and find out if we are the right fit. It provides an opportunity for you to share your reasons for seeking therapy and to ask any questions. Please contact me if you wish to arrange this. I look forward to hearing from you.
